Fall is Coming!

Autumn begins tomorrow, September 23, and your library is ready with fall-themed programming that you can enjoy as you sip your pumpkin-spice latte and contemplate jumping in big piles of colorful leaves. Consider signing up for one of the following events:

First Day of Fall Pumpkin and Floral Hanging

Saturday, September 23

10 a.m.-noon

This decorative hanging is the perfect way to usher fall into your home. Thanks to funding from the Friends, there is no fee for this class. CLICK HERE to register.

Let’s Needlefelt a Pumpkin!

Friday, September 29

1:00-2:00 p.m.

Participants will use the library’s wool and needle felting tools to make a cute pumpkin for their fall home decor. Supplies and spots in the class are limited. Register by CLICKING HERE.

Where the Jack-O’-Lanterns Are & More

On Friday, October 20, there will be a display of carved pumpkins at the Macedon Library designed by local residents and businesses. You will have the chance to vote for your favorites by placing a dollar in the box by each pumpkin. All proceeds benefit Literacy Volunteers of Wayne County. There will be halloween treats, a family-friendly music concert, trunk or treating (weather permitting), a pie eating contest, and more. Want to enter a pumpkin that you’ve carved into the fun? Call 315-986-5932 to reserve a pumpkin. Pick your pumpkin up any time after Wednesday, October 4.
