The Paris Assignment

Londoner Madeleine Grant is studying at the Sorbonne in Paris when she marries charismatic French journalist Giles Martin. As they raise their son, Olivier, they hold on to a tenuous promise for the future. Until the thunder of war sets off alarms in France. Giles sends Madeleine and Olivier to the relative safety of England. After a devastating twist of fate resulting in the loss of her son, Madeleine accepts a request from the ministry to aid in the war effort. Seizing the smallest glimmer of hope of finding Giles alive, she returns to France. If Madeleine can stop just one Nazi, it will be the start of a valiant path of revenge.

Honey Drop Dead

Theodosia’s Honey Bee Tea was an elegant affair set in Charleston’s new Petigru Park. But when a phony beekeeper shows up and sprays toxic smoke at the guests, the party erupts in chaos. A shot rings out and Osgood Claxton III, candidate for state legislature, falls to the ground—dead. Holly Burns, the gallery owner who asked Theodosia to cater the tea, begs Theodosia to run a shadow investigation and help restore her gallery’s good name. But the investigation becomes a political hot potato following a second murder, the revelation of a messy affair, and a vandalized shop.

North of Nowhere

After five years in hiding from their murderous father, the day Kristen and Ryan McIntyre have been dreading has arrived: Boyd McIntyre has at last tracked his kids to a small Montana town and is minutes away from kidnapping them. They barely escape in a small plane, but gunfire hits the fuel line. The pilot manages to crash land in the middle of the Montana wilderness. The siblings hike deep into the woods, searching desperately for safety—unaware of the severity of the approaching storm. More volatile than the incoming blizzard, more dangerous than the family they ran from or the natural predators they could encounter, whoever finds them first could determine if they live or die.
