New Books for Children: Thursday, August 17

Looking for some new books for your children to read? The library is constantly receiving new materials, including the items below. Why not stop by and check out a book, CD, movie, or other material that they might find interesting. We will continue to offer “Grab and Go” services for those who prefer to place their books on hold online and then pick them up in the cabinet inside the library.

Here are a few of the new books for children that have arrived at the library recently. We invite you to check them out!

The Garden Plot (Hardy Boys)

Frank and Joe Hardy have been hard at work turning their front yard into an eco-friendly edible landscape garden thanks to a contest sponsored by the Bayport Science Center. Frank’s really been enjoying learning about how to make the garden thrive, while Joe likes all of the cool critters and, of course, getting to munch on all of the yummy food. Note that the library recently received nearly a dozen books in the Hardy Boys series. For ages 6-9.

There’s a Lizard in my Blizzard (Zeke the Weather Geek)

When Zeke the Weather Geek wakes up on his ninth birthday, his Mood Meter is at an all-time high. This is going to be the best birthday ever, because today, he will finally be getting a Saint Bernard puppy.
