The Entrepreneurial Workshop Series, held in conjunction with SCORE (the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors), has helped multiple local businesses launch successfully.

Topics covered include:

  • goal setting
  • SBA (Small Business Association) resources
  • online marketing
  • selling skills
  • developing a business plan
  • library services/business research
  • legal considerations
  • budgeting and cash management
  • business banking
  • insurance needs

There is a $40 fee for the class series, which is partially funded from aid given to the library by former NYS senator Michael Nozzolio.
