Are you thinking about starting your own business? Want some solid guidance? Or maybe you already have a business and want to brush up on the basics. The Entrepreneurial Workshop Series, held in conjunction with SCORE (the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors), has already helped several local businesses launch successfully.

Topics covered include:

  • goal setting
  • SBA resources
  • online marketing
  • selling skills
  • developing a business plan
  • library services/business research
  • legal considerations
  • budgeting and cash management
  • business banking
  • insurance needs

There is a $40 fee for the class series, which are partially funded from aid given to the library by former NYS senator Michael Nozzolio. Space is limited and registration is required.
