Whether your child loves to read or struggles with it, they’ll love sharing a book with a furry, accepting, doggy friend. Children in grades K-5 are invited to read to a dog to develop confidence and fluency while reading aloud.  There is no registration required and several dogs will be available. The dogs are all very gentle—they are being trained for use as service dogs, and this is an opportunity for them to learn, too. A true win-win! Readers will get a sticker that shows their accomplishment, and the chance to give hugs and ear-scritches as much as they wish.
