This week’s Movie: The Lorax

This week’s family-friendly movie is The Lorax. This 2012 movie features the vocal talents of Danny DeVito, Zac Efron, and Taylor Swift in a Dr. Seuss fairy tale. In the city of Thneedville, everything is artificial and a little girl named Audrey hopes to one day see a real tree. Ted, who wants to win her heart, seeks out the mysterious Once-ler who tells him the sad story of what happened to the trees—and about the Lorax, who speaks for the trees. Ted resolves to find a way to return the trees to Thneedville, to change the lives of all the city dwellers by restoring nature as she once was.
