English Country Dancing

Sat. 1/14: 2 pm.

Hear live music played while enjoying Country Dancers of Rochester whirling and twirling to quick and lively tunes from the Regency Period. Audience members will also have the opportunity to participate in the fun, so those planning on joining in the dance will want to wear comfortable, low healed, soft shoes. Country Dance is a forerunner of square dance. No previous experience is necessary to be able to jump right in as the dances are called out just like in square dancing. As has often been said, “If you can walk, you can country dance!”
