Growing Native Plants

Cornell Cooperative Extension, Master Gardener, Kathryn Franz, will teach the benefits and joys of growing native perennials, grasses and sedges, ferns and ground covers. This presentation presents why “going native” is becoming more popular to home gardeners. Discover three season of beautiful natives that will thrive in a wide variety of conditions. Leave this presentation with a list of all the plants discussed that includes common and Latin names along with many resources for learning more.
