Interviewing and Networking Skills Workshop

Mon. 3/14: 9-4 pm.

This is a free, day-long workshop with Pat Piles targeted at anyone who is either underemployed or unemployed and motivated to secure a better employment situation for themselves. Interviewing and Networking are tho of the most critical job search skills to be mastered. Surveys suggest that, on average, 118 people apply for any given job and only 20% get interviewed. Standing-out in and interview takes preparation. Understanding the interview process and knowing how to prepare for the next interview is essential, An ABC news report suggested that 80% of today’s jobs are landed through networking. Another study says close to 80% of jobs landed are never advertised. This workshop will teach the skills to master an interview and become an effective networker.
